Fusion of Hearts CIC is a community-led organisation in Enfield, rooted in lived experience. Our mission is to make Enfield a place where every family raising a child with SEND feels supported, included, and never alone, while building a future where families everywhere, no matter their culture or background, can access the right support without barriers or stigma.

I had no idea how to go about getting assistance for my child who has speech delay, I met the team from FOH CIC who have helped me greatly with direction and the right way to about getting my son assessed. I’ve met with Makaya several times, she has put the time and effort to help me fill out application. Without her assistance I wouldn’t know how to go about it, I’m so grateful for the support and assistance.

Finding Makaya’s help was a lifeline, it’s not very often that I find people that understand what it is to be a carer let alone have the resources to help other carers.
We really enjoy the events, it helps to tackle the isolation that comes with caring for a child with SEND.

Since finding Fusion of Hearts CIC I have been supported both as a carer and in finding a community that creates inclusive events so my child and I can take part in accessible events where we can make friends, have moments to share our experiences and get the right signposting to services or advice from EHCP’s to Housing.

Through the dedication of National Lottery players, we offer workshops, advocacy, sensory resources, and safe spaces for connection, rest, and community.
